In Japan, the idea of “responsibility” often feels vague and unspoken—something everyone tries to avoid, yet no one can truly escape.The ball in this work carries the word “責任 (responsibility)”, becoming a physical object that people pass around, hesitate to hold, or quietly step away from.By giving “responsibility” a tangible form, the work reveals how this invisible pressure moves through society, and how we negotiate it—often without realizing it.
